The Lince Ecorkhotel
Set within the Alentejo landscape, at Quinta da Deserta e Malina near Évora, The Lince Ecorkhotel is a contemporary expression of the region’s style.
Distinguished by the use of cork as both cladding and insulation for the main building, it is Portugal’s first eco-friendly hotel.
The project comprises 56 suites, some with private pools, as well as a restaurant, bar, conference rooms, and a spa featuring an indoor heated pool, sauna, Turkish bath, and gym.
On the rooftop, an infinity pool offers panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.
Designed as a family retreat, the hotel embraces the tranquility and bucolic spirit of the Alentejo.
Through a soft color palette, a variety of textures, simple forms, and the predominant use of natural materials, the design fosters an atmosphere of comfort, serenity, and a strong connection to the local landscape.
